Google CEO Sundar Pichai will take over as CEO of parent company Alphabet, in addition to his current role, following the announcement that Alphabet CEO Larry Page will step down, CNBC reports. Co-founder Sergey Brin is also stepping down as president of Alphabet, and the role will be eliminated.
