Security flaws found in four dating apps may have revealed the exact locations of a combined 10 million users, ZDNet reports. Research firm Pen Test Partners created a tool that found 3Fun, Grindr, Romeo and Recon were each leaking precise locations of their users. “By supplying spoofed locations (latitude and longitude) it is possible to retrieve the distances to these profiles from multiple points, and then triangulate or trilaterate the data to return the precise location of that person,” researchers from Pen Test Partners said.
