Google's new Android to focus on privacy

Engadget reports on Google’s recently released Android Q beta preview and notes that it features functional updates, including a focus on privacy. New user controls include the ability to limit an app’s ability to gather location data to when the app is running. The beta version also prohibits apps from collecting sensitive information, such as IMEI and serial numbers, the report states.
